Fair Credit Reporting Act Notice
Allentown Housing Authority partners with RentGrow, Inc. for screening of credit scores. Please find their statement on Fair Credit Reporting below.
As you know, some of the data you receive and use to screen tenant applicants through the screening services provided by RentGrow, Inc. is subject to the Fair Credit Reporting Act or FCRA (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.). Annually, we are required to provide you with a summary of important FCRA obligations, which are contained in the annual NOTICE TO USERS OF CONSUMER REPORTS: OBLIGATIONS OF USERS UNDER THE FCRA (the “Notice”).
The Notice is available online at resources.yardi.com/documents/us-screening-schedule-c, at the end of Schedule C (the Required Supplemental Terms and Conditions that apply to your screening agreement).
Other important state and local obligations not addressed in the Notice may also apply to you depending on where you do business. It is your responsibility to know and abide by any additional state and local obligations. If you have questions about the FCRA or the Notice, more information is available from the Federal Trade Commission’s online Credit Reporting web page located at www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/privacy-and-security/credit-reporting.
